Q: Are there any setup fees? A: No, there are no setup fees; our website is free to register, and there is no charge to use our on-site software.
Q: How do I register? A: To register for an account, click on the “Login” button, located on the vertical menu on the left of the screen. Click the blue button “Click Here To Register”. Enter a user name, password, and password conformation, and click “Register.”
Q: What does a basic mailing list include? A: The base record for a basic consumer mailing list includes: name, address, age, income, gender, marital status, presence of children, home owner/renter, and dwelling type. For a business list, the base record includes: company name, address, and SIC code. A list of additional data elements can be found here.
Q: In what format will my list be? A: Your list will be sent in two formats: -Comma-delimited ASCII text format, which you can easily download and import into Excel, Access, Lotus, ACT, as well as many other programs. -Excel format, which you also can easily download and import into Access, Lotus, ACT as well as several other programs.
Q: How fast will I get my mailing list? A: You will receive your mailing within 24 hours, but most lists will be ready in 2 hours.
Q: What sources do you use to get the information for your lists? A: Peter the Printer uses Acxiom for its consumer information, and D&B for its business information. Both of these organizations are among the largest and most respected in their fields, reaching the overwhelming majority of U.S. individuals and businesses. Q: Do I get a receipt of invoice? A: Yes, your receipt and invoice are located under the details section of each specific order in the “Orders” tab. You also receive an email notification as well.
Q: What is your guarantee? A: Our guarantee is 100% Customer Satisfaction, or your money back. If you’re not satisfied, please contact us at 866-PETER-02 (866-738-3702).
Q: I forgot my password. What should I do? A: If you forgot your password, click on “Login” and choose the “Forgot your password” box. Please enter your email address and we will send you a temporary password, via email. You can always change your password again by going to “My Profile”
Q: Can I rush my order? A: We do not offer rushed order with our mailing list services
Q: What if I want to cancel my order? A: If you want to cancel your order, contact us at 866-PETER-02 (866-738-3702), and talk to one of our customer services representatives.
Q: Do you accept checks/money orders/purchase orders? A: No, we do not currently accept checks, money orders, or purchase orders; major credit and debit cards and PayPal are the only valid forms of payment. We are working on this too.
Q: Does my browser need to be Java enabled to use your design software? A: Yes, a Java enabled browser, like Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Netscape, is obligatory to use the “Design It Yourself” functionality.
